We are delighted with the completed relocation of our holiday site from our much-loved original field to our beautiful new location. While this marks an exciting new chapter for us, we also recognise that it is just the beginning of the nearby housing development project.

 

Throughout the relocation process, we have worked closely with both the construction team and the Holkham Estate, building strong working relationships that continue as the development progresses. As both a family and a business, we are very mindful of each stage of the project and the potential impact it could have on our guests' experience.

 

Although the construction work is not directly adjacent to the campsite, with a paddock and landscaped areas separating the two sites, we appreciate that it remains nearby. Through our ongoing communication with the Holkham Estate and the construction team, we have been able to agree suitable working hours to help minimise noise and disruption wherever possible.

 

At present, the final stage of the access road is being completed in what was formerly our original field, next to our driveway. Once this phase is finished, the majority of the work will move further away, into the area behind the farmhouse and closer to the town.

We have also ensured that pedestrian access to the town via Holkham Road, directly opposite the campsite, remains available.

 

To date, there has been no disruption to our guests, and we will continue to work closely with all parties involved to maintain this as the development progresses over the coming years. We believe in being open and transparent about our surroundings, allowing guests to make informed decisions and ensuring that the holiday you book with us is as close as possible to the experience you expect and deserve.
